In an apartment building the bin belongs to everyone, so in the end nobody takes care of it. Or it always falls to the same person until one day they stop. Then the bin stays full, rubbish piles up next to it, and the complaint lands on your desk.
Whether a building looks cared for should not depend on who remembers collection day.
That is what Team Sauberes Karlsruhe charges for an extra collection per call-out (as of 2026). Without it, the bin stays full until the next regular collection. A single missed collection costs almost as much as a whole month of bin service.
Partial service from 2027: save on fees without putting the bins out yourself
From 2027, property owners in Karlsruhe decide whether Team Sauberes Karlsruhe fetches the bins from the property (full service) or whether they are put out at the street (partial service). This applies to 2-wheel bins for residual waste, paper and organic waste.
Partial service is cheaper
According to Team Sauberes Karlsruhe, fees in partial service are about 10 to 18% lower. In return, the bins must be at the kerb on collection day, at the earliest from the evening before, and brought back afterwards.
Full service only under conditions
The bin site may be at most 35 m from the street, with no more than 10 steps and a slope of at most 5%. Bin sites that do not meet these conditions are automatically switched to partial service.
We take care of the rest
You choose the cheaper partial service, we put the bins out and bring them back after collection. This also applies to bin sites that are switched automatically. Surrounding towns (Ettlingen, Rheinstetten, Stutensee, Pfinztal, Bruchsal, Rastatt) have their own rules. Send us the address and we will check for you.

How does the neighbour discount work?+
If a neighbour on the same street joins as well, you both pay 30% less. Our costs lie in the journey, so every additional address on the same street makes the service cheaper for everyone.

How do you know my collection dates?+
We work from the official collection calendar for your address and take holiday changes into account. If something changes on your side, such as the number of bins or the collection rhythm, just let us know.
Do you need a key for the bin site?+
If the bin site is behind a gate or a locked door, we need a key or code. We sort that out before we start.
What happens if a collection is missed?+
If the bins were not out in time through our fault and you tell us within 48 hours, we do not charge for that month. Excluded are locked access, unannounced changes by the waste service, storms and ice.
How can I cancel?+
At any time without notice in the first month, after that at any time with 30 days’ notice.
Do I get proof that the bins were put out?+
Yes, as an optional extra for an additional charge: a photo after every collection via WhatsApp or collected with the monthly invoice.
